Cachet at the Wigwam Sales Begin April 2

Cachet at the Wigwam opens April 2.

Offering 167 single-family homes, townhouses and condos, the 28-acre community is adjacent to the Wigwam Resort golf club’s Heritage or “Red” course on the northwest corner of Litchfield Road and Village Parkway in Litchfield Park.

The Scottsdale-based homebuilder plans three products: the Signature Series, three single-family floor plans; the Lifestyle Series, three townhouse plans; and the Villa Series, two condo plans.

Models

Cachet Homes is building two of the Signature plans as models at the Wigwam community, said Matt Cody, president of the company, which has completed approximately 2,500 homes and custom lots throughout the Phoenix area as well as in Buckeye, Prescott, Sedona and Flagstaff.

The single-level homes, 1,900 to 2,292 square feet, are configured as two bedrooms plus den, and three bedrooms. The two-car-garage homes have an option for golf-cart storage. Cachet has linked the community to the golf-cart path under Litchfield Road, which connects with the resort’s golf club and the Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa as well as with the amenities of downtown Litchfield Park.

All three townhouses will be modeled at the community, he said. They are 1,723 to 2,895 square feet, two bedroom plus den, and three bedroom, with a two-car garage and a cart-storage option.

Both condo plans are being modeled, 1,522 to 1,961 square feet, including two bedrooms and two bedrooms plus den, and two-car garage.

Community amenities

Cachet at the Wigwam will be built around a community heated pool/spa; fitness center with treadmills, exercise bikes, a weight machine, free weights, elliptical trainer, outdoor fireplace and conversation area; an outdoor kitchen with seating for entertaining; and an outdoor ramada incorporating a barbecue area and gathering spaces.

The community amenities are scheduled to be complete in June, with homes closing shortly after, Cody said, noting that for a limited time, purchase will include a nine-month Cachet Elite Social Membership to the Wigwam golf club.

“The model homes will showcase the latest decorating styles and trends in home design,” said Sue Goodrich, vice president of sales/marketing for Cachet Homes. “In addition, the model homes will demonstrate many available options to allow the buyers to customize their homes.”

‘Green’ features

All Cachet at the Wigwam homes are designed and built to meet the EPA Energy Star Program and APS Energy Star Homes Program, she said. They will feature high-efficiency gas heating and 14 SEER electric cooling; programmable Honeywell digital thermostats; and Milgard vinyl-framed dual-pane windows with upgraded SunCoatMAX low E glass and premium espresso frames.

Additional “green” features will include Therma-Tru 8-foot-tall front doors; 2-by-6-inch exterior walls with R-19 batt insulation; R-38 blown fiberglass at ceilings, with batting at inaccessible areas; a 50-gallon gas water heater with a .62 energy factor rating; and energy-saving CFL bulbs.

“The proximity to the Wigwam Resort and the location in the heart of Litchfield Park make this an ideal community for both year-round and seasonal residents,” Cody said, “and the amenity core will create an inviting sense of community for the residents.”
